About

Welcome to the pseudo-personal blog of Julius D Rocas, more popularly known as “Jhay” or to his younger peers and friends as “Kuya Jhay”. He is also known as the activist-geek behind The Four-eyed Journal but in here, he’s just an ordinary geek who drools over anime, chess, pizza, movies, Gundam Wing and Star Wars just to name a few. This is a place for his creations that are not worth monetizing or optimizing for the deities of the internets.

This blog is to serve as his journal where he could write and share stories of his daily thoughts, ideas, observations, wishes, struggles against the pressures of a semi-feudal society, college algebra and the challenge of getting home safe after a huge drinking session. Occasionally, he would also share the things that has captured his fancy, a cool video of squirrels in YouTube, a nice play list from Last.fm, a hilarious photo from Photobucket (or something of his own creation) or an interesting fact from the Uncyclopedia.

From time to time, he’d also share photos he took with his humble Sony Ericsson K800i. It would be his training tool while waiting for his bank account to be fat enough to afford him a full-pledged digital SLR camera.

Most of the time he’d be talking about his latest experiences, encounters, realizations, discoveries and learnings from friends and college as he struggles to finish his degree in Human Biology while spending more money and time on books about the social sciences and law.

All the while, he wishes that somehow, you find a gem inside the pages of this blog. Just watch your step though.
